So, I was thinking about how much it would rock to have kids because you get to build them the tree house you never had when you were little because both your parents were gummint employees and worked 12 hour days. Treehouse! FUN! Given my newfound skills with carpentry projects and my creativity, I've decided:

Crompsin Treehouse wish list:

- Real shingle roof to keep the rain out
- Solid walls w/ insulation to keep fall chill out
- Carpet square floor w/ insulation
- Plexiglass windows with privacy shutters
- Multiple escape hatches
- Rope ladder / Cargo net
- PVC pipe "fireman slide"
- Observation turret with hatches
- Dumbwaiter / goodies retrieving mechanism

Any good treehouse plans / stories / features? I know some of you monkeypeople had a rockin' treehouse when you were youngins.
