squeeb, as I said above, please use the algebraic notation. "NO MOVE WILL BE VALID" unless expressed in the algebraic notation. your move should be expressed as g1-f3.

the main reason for this is that not everyone knows or understands chess shorthand. also, this prevents any possible misunderstanding about which piece or pawn is moving, in the event that, to use this move as an example, there are two white knights which can legally move to the f3 square.

I'm gonna let this move stand, but this will be the last reminder. henceforth, moves not expressed in the proper form are to be considered invalid and ignored.

further note, when posting your moves, please be sure to double check that you have not made a typo. for example, if squeeb had posted h1-f3 by mistake, the move would have to be considered invalid, as the rook cannot legally make that move.
