Considering her past behavior with you, I'd say she just told you what you wanted to hear to keep you hanging around while she holds out hope that you'll eventually realize that you're as in love with her as she is with you.
Beware of any clingy or possesive behavior. If you seriously don't want a relationship with her you really need to cut this one loose.
