What you need is Revo Uninstaller.

Download that and install it. Run Revo and it will detect traces of Mcaffee on your computer. Highlight the Mcaffee icon and hit uninstall. If it's already halfway uninstalled, it will get rid of it anyway. After it's removed, make SURE to hit "scan after uninstall" when it prompts you to. Then it will scan the registry and majorly wipe out anything related to Mcaffee on your PC. One of the best programs I've ever used.

By the way, I highly recommend AVG Antivirus instead of Norton. Norton is bloatware and not much better than Mcaffee. Plus it's free and you don't have to worry about it running out after a year like Norton.
