stanley jordan and them guys were the first i'd heard of who played in this style, but they were using electrics with lots of delay and stuff on them. doing that style on an acoustic has gotta be hard, because you don't have any gain on your signal. tapping a string like that produces a pretty weak sound, it's hard to make it sound clearly, so hats off to these guys and gals.
