Yes... consider yourself lucky that you are with someone who can be so open and honest with you. Fantasies like that take some serious vulnerability and trust with your partner, so it's a good thing.
It's hard for me to get into BDSM as well, but it's worth it when I do. Even if I would never choose it for myself, the payoffs make it worth the effort.
