I had a buddy who went italy not so long ago- he pretty much spent a few years "adventuring" around over there, including some time as a, get this, illegal alien, working menial jobs , in europe- at one point he met a thirty something, very rich woman at the university, I think he said it was in milan- her family was very connected, used to be nobility, etc and as he was educated and spoke several languages, and frankly had the body of a greek god (my friends and I all still resent the fact that our women lust after him...) she used him for about six months as a trophy, and he loved every minute of it..........her normal social circle was of the idle rich, and so his working guy background was interesting, but as he was a philosophy and languages major, he was still able to mix with the elites......
