Please accept my condolences for your loss.
Don't feel like you "have" to start dating. If you meet someone you are interested in, it's OK. But don't force yourself to do it. You'll know when it's right.
Allow yourself to greive, and find something outside of what you do now to be interested in. Volunteer somewhere, and when it's meant to happen, it will.
