Nice strawman. Does being stronger help you hit HRs? Sure, but it isn't a requirement. Soriano is 6-1, 180 and he's had three seasons with more than 35 HR. Bonds and Griffy were the best HR hitters in the 90's and neither was that big.
There are a bunch of other hugely successful small hitters out there like Ichiro and Utley. Pitchers don't need bulk either (Randy Johnson or Billy Wagner)
Body types in baseball aren't important. It's about the tools (skills) you have and how good you are at making adjustments.
