If you really want to keep that desk, you could find out what a piece of custom-cut tempered glass would cost, with the rounded corners and any drilled holes. I just had that done to a table-top I wanted to keep, this top cost under $100 so I'm wild guessing that the larger top above might cost $200 to $300. Alternately, you could replace the broken glass part with plexiglass, lexan or similar clear plastic but plastic will scratch and mar much easier than glass.
