Looking for new games to try
I am a huge fan of first-person shooters, games like the Half Life series, Soldier of Fortune, Medal of Honor - Stuff like that.
Some criteria:
1. No online multiplayer. It can have it as a alternate feature, but I am not looking for a game that depends upon it.
2. PC based games only. I thoroughly despise consoles. If the only reason you're posting is to harang me about how consoles are better than PCs, don't bother. I'm not saying they are or aren't, I just know what my preferences are.
3. I am perfectly capable of figuring it out, but I do not want anything that requires a degree from MIT, or requires six hands to play. I simply want to have fun and blow stuff up and let off steam from a very high pressure job, that's all.
Any and all input would be appreciated.
