Hold on, i don't think she said that he was passing on sex to go wank, she said that she was not in the mood and then caught him polishing the bishop. that seems quite different, may be it's just semantics (or me). I think that it is fairly normal for the average dude to flog the dolphin, but not at the expense of sex and intimacy with a willing partner.
Regarding what you said about the porn itself, there are a few threads around hee as i recall that suggest more "women-friendly" porn (you know, where positions like the "piledriver" are not utilized). i would not expect him to stop yanking his crank every so often though.
