I've never been with my husband, because he doesn't really like strip clubs, but I did go with my ex-boyfriend several times in college. It is a lot of fun as long as you aren't uncomfortable with your body (and I say that because in a strip club, every woman in there is gorgeous, perfectly toned, made up, etc, and we all know that we're competitive with one another to some degree).
Interestingly, the other day I found myself on a forum for strippers (don't ask how... I don't remember how I got there or why I stayed, lol), and I was reading an extremely long thread about how much strippers generally HATE women coming into their clubs, unless they're lesbians. Why, you ask? According to the thread, women who come with their husbands/boyfriends generally:
Don't tip well (or not at all)
Glare at the women and their husband the whole time
Take away attention from the strippers*
Via glaring, distract the husband from buying dances/drinks/etc.
Make it uncomfortable for the strippers.
* I mention the attention because I had never thought of this before (crazy me). According to the girls who posted here, many of them have lost significant money in any given night because of bachelorette parties or large groups of guys who bring their girlfriends. Basically, when nobody's paying attention to the strippers, nobody is paying them, either. And these strippers all said basically that they don't ENJOY taking their clothes off, they do it for the money. So standing around naked all night for no money really bothers them. As I can understand.
I don't know whether you care that you'll be hated by a roomful of naked chicks or not, but my advice is to behave and keep the glaring to a minimum, and if you dont' think you can do that, then don't go. Just out of courtesy for the girls who are up there dancing, I suppose.
