I used to think the 14th Amendment covered it nicely.
No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States. And I would have thought employment preferences for aliens went against this amendment. But who knows now?
Grancey saw a story last week where police in a New York town cannot legally ask immigrant day laborers their citizenship status anymore. WTF? The day laborers have an attorney now and any queries to them violates rights that I didn't even know they had.
They're using our own Constitution against us.
