A week from Sunday the F1 circus comes to the US, specifically the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. F1 in most parts of the world (including Canada, which is this weekend) can be very expensive to attend, but not so at Indy. If you can drive in for race day, all you'll need is general admission tickets. Although you might be able to scalp decent tickets for not much more than track price. If you can't drive in and out in a day, camping close to the track is very reasonable. If you are a fan of motorsports do try to attend this at least once. Especially if you live in the midwest. The cars are absolutely amazing. There are no other race cars that have the performance parameters of F1. And the sound, the sound is amazing. Wear ear protection. You'll not regret it if you do.
I predict if you attend you'll become a fan.
If anyone wants more information, ask here or PM me. I've been to all of the USGPs at IMS and can't wait for this year's.
