What percentage of the male population has a genital piercing? Your rationale seems akin to saying that there's not a lot of information on the dangers of

In all seriousness, you are free to do as you like, of course. You asked for reasons why not, I did a five minute Google search and turned up the things I mentioned. I'm not a doctor, I don't know anyone with such a piercing (at least I don't think so...) and I don't have any stake in the matter.
