What other reason besides 'sharp object near penis' do you need?
I'm not sure what the positives are, maybe it would make the wife feel good down there... But I would worry about tugging it or the pushing and pulling from sex might not feel that good.
Plus, you won't be able to piss straight. So it would be much harder to take a piss outdoors.
You would need to clean it often.
There is always the money you would save by not getting one.
I don't know enough about them to come up with anything else.
