As typical as it may sound, my best first date was with my wife. It wasn't fancy or clever, it was just GOOD! It was a pretty typical dinner and a movie type of date, and a few hours of talking afterwords in the parking lot when I dropped her off at her car (her work at the time).
In my mind it just proved the best date isn't the where, it's the who with.
