There's a very simple way to avoid all this, don't put anything about yourself on the net, use fake addresses, fake pics of people and say they are you, in a place like this never include anything so personal it might throw a bone in your direction.

On the other side, you can use the net to get even with people, pass off their phone numbers, pics, addresses in gay or pedophile or swapping sites.

My point is, ANYONE can get the information on you regardless of whether you put it on the net or not. Our lives are not so private, we have government files on us, credit files on us, and so on. It's why it is so easy for these "web detective" sites to find people, and we won't even talk about the background check sites.
