I have friends that go to Curves and enjoy it, but Sultana is right, it's not a body changing format unless you can devote at least 3 hours a week of sweat and use their onsite nutritionist. When I heard about how they manage your food, I cringed; it's way too specific. At least with Weight Watchers, you can have variety and not be beholden to X amount of grams of carbos per day, X amount of fats, etc...
Any good workout program will take about 6-10 weeks of noticeable difference if you go 3-4 hours a week, but Curves is not strenuous, it's more of an opportunity to be a bit more fit, get the blood moving and get out of the house.
Had you done WW? I lost 45 lbs on that one...kept it off going on 8 years this fall.
