Once you have the test results, we might have a better idea of the "how" of things. I know you didn't ask this question, but have you considered the possibility that your boyfriend is lying to you? You have certain knowledge of your fidelity, but sadly, he has cheated on you once before. If the test confirms a new STI, it is he that has some explaining to do.
