If you'll notice, Tenn's entry is not listed as a preamble.
The fact that the constitution acknowledges "almighty god" in the first place is in direct opposition to the concept of athiesm. A properly worded religious clause would say something along the lines of "complete religious freedom to worship or not according to one's own beliefs"
