I'd say atleast look her up on facebook. See what type of stuff she has in her profile. Girls don't say "Look at me, I'm single" because they DONT want attention. Then I'd send her a little something, going like "hey, haven't run into you around campus in awhile" or something like that. To me that shows you atleast remember her and have paid attention to her in the past. How she reacts to this is totally based on if she is attracted to you or not. You'll be a slimeball if she is not attracted, or really sweet for remembering her is she is attracted.
