The dog was knocked unconscious, she wasn't breathing or anything. Anyway, I'm not calling my mom the smartest person in the world. However, she did act on impulse, and because of that the dog's still alive. She's been alive for three years now, so I don't think it was that stupid for my mom to do.
The dog would be dead right now, had my mom not had acted.
What I think was actually stupid of my mom to do, was allow a toddler to handle such a tiny dog.
