In Ohio, Bill, the next big vote before the state legislature is on allowing racetracks (horses) to have slot machines.
But I'm not sure it will pass. We have the same group of people here in Ohio, and boy, can they cause a fuss. I still don't get why they actually care, (they won't be attending nickel slot nite) but they put their money where their mouth is. And they vote.
Personally, I think there's not much wrong with dropping a nickel in the slot machine. People go elsewhere - why not spend it in Ohio? It will certainly create jobs.
But we'll see.
Closer to what the article says - I don't think of any state I'd like to declare war on. But I'd sure like to see North and South Dakota go at it. In January.
