When we bought a new car almost two years ago, getting what turned out to be a very competitive price was simpler than I imagined. I started online with edmunds and autobytel, I'm sure there are others too, picked out my car with all the options I wanted, later that day I had three quotes from local dealers, simply told them all that I was comparison shopping from these dealers, the closest one to my house matched the lowest quote and I lived happily ever after.
