I would buy a good case (that locks) and hide it. Either underground or under your bed. But, you have to be sure that nobody else finds it.

Or you could sell it part by part to an anonymous person on-line. I wouldn't mind having an ak-47.

Although it is a 10 year jail sentence in the US for having an unregistered gun I think.
