OK, I feel the need to chime in. Although those "auto-trace" options in Inkscape and Illustrator are pretty good, its still just a machine making decisions rather than a human. Also, looking at where it placed the nodes, it is not efficent. I took the liberty of doing one myself, it took 5 minutes. OK, that's longer than 10 seconds, but there are far less nodes (control points) and all of the spines, teeth and claws are pointed, not rounded off.
Doing it yourself rather than letting a machine make the decisions will always come out better, IMO.
