Once when I was little we had a bunch of hamsters get loose somehow and for the next few months we would find them in the most insane places.
Probably the most memorable one was when we left out some blackberry cobbler on the table and in the morning there were little paw prints leading away from it.
I take that back, the most memorable one was when we started a fire in the fireplace (it's a big, old fashioned one with side vents) and hamsters just started pouring out of the side vents.
