The Pathfinder sounds like a good deal? What dealership did you go to to check the vehicles out at? I bought my Xterra at a John Elway dealership (I heard they're going to be changing their names soon). Personally, this was the best experience I had with a dealership. Did not try upselling, or nothing, and were fair-priced, and more than willing to work with me.
