I have loved traditional nylon stockings ever since I was a teenager. So much so that I used to collect vintage ones at garage and estate sales. I'm almost certain I was born in the wrong time period, lol. So I thought I would share this website:

They are a little pricey (not as bad as some others I've seen), but they have a GREAT selection of stockings. Not to mention just looking at their website is a real treat. I love their models.
If anyone else has some favorite sites to purchase stockings from maybe you can share, too? I'm always looking for reliable places to shop for them online. The man I'm seeing currently is
very much a stocking man.

This is probably the best for what you are looking for. They have all sorts of stockings here, including vintage ones. The second link is to the store itself, the first to the main site (they have forums, etc there).
Those are some pretty decent ones. It is really nice to see someone with a passion for hosiery, other than myself. I have been trying to get my wife into it as well, and though she is warming up, she isn't gung-ho.
