So true. They really do provide tremendous amounts of traction in snow. I once had a rear-drive z28 camaro that was undriveable in any amount of snow with the stock low-profile tires. I would get stuck simply driving away from stoplights, the back end would just go sideways. The most important thing in that car, in snow, was never to stop because once you did you were stuck. I put blizzaks on and it was a night and day improvement. It was almost weird how the car suddenly had traction and felt safe to drive again. If money were tight, blizzaks would be my number one option.
