This ornament has been a part of each and every Christmas for as long as I can remember. Yet I have been told over and over...husbands, kids, friends, what have you...that it is the ugliest decoration they have ever seen and that I should get rid of it. I say:
Fuck ya'll, man, this little guy ain't goin' nowhere. Just kidding, I don't really say that - I just think it.
So we decorated our tree last night and it got me to thinking about whether anyone else out there had a favorite Christmas decoration that they just couldn't get rid of...no matter how horrid it is.

Here's a picture of my tree, too...thought maybe if you don't have an ugly decoration you can just post a picture of your tree, instead. The elf, by the way, this year is perched on the shoulders of our Santa tree-topper. Hitchin' a ride this year.
My daughter's idea...and a damn good one, too.
