What you say really resonates with me, I felt this way pretty strongly for a bit. But I decided that I didn't really need that part of my life and have decided that this is really what I want.
Granted, we've talked about marriage and it's a hopeful future, but it's not like either of us are banking on it or our families are involved, it's just between us. We've been together for nearly 6 months.
EDIT: I'm 18 as well.
