Well, I am a woman but I have had this experience so I will contribute my thoughts. I am a photographer and one of my favorite subjects is the human body. Thus far I have not had many oppurtunities to shoot nudes but the ones I had were fun.
My boyfriend used to hate cameras but after quite some time of having a lens in his face he is getting used to it. I have gotten him to shoot nude with me, as in we share the camera. However most of these pictures got deleted rather quickly because they were taken with a family camera. I personally have no hangups about shooting nude with my boyfriend because I am very comfortable with him and he has a few though not big ones.
As far as other women and shooting nude goes, it changes from woman to woman. I know some women who have no problems with nude pictures and love to have their boyfriends shoot with them. At the same time there are some women that are just not comfortable doing that whether it be because they don't feel good enough about their bodies or they don't trust their partner. The only thing you can really do is make sure that you express how beautiful you think she is and that you will not distribute the photos. Maybe she will get more used to the idea, maybe she won't. You'll have to wait and see.
