My girlfriend hates porn, and she's pretty shy about her sexuality in general. But she really enjoyed it when we took pictures (under the assurance that they would remain between us, which wasn't really necessary because I would never think of sharing them - but I digress...). It was a lot of fun. It wasn't about just capturing images of her; the camera became just another way of appreciating her, and enhanced the whole act, really. Fun (but blurry) pictures, great sex... good times indeed.
She was skeptical at first (largely because she wanted to make sure that the pictures remained between us only). I only asked twice because she sounded like she was interested. If she hadn't, I would have dropped it. For me it's impossible to enjoy something that she isn't comfortable doing, so it would have been beyond bad to push her into something she didn't want to do. It's nice to have your cake and eat it too, but when that isn't what the cake wants (to put it one way), it really doesn't seem so nice after all.
