I would really love to get back there
not on business. I made only one very quick trip down Duval street and it looked interesting. Maybe next time!

Yes, you really should try to get back. I'd like to go again soon, too.
It's funny you should mention legal business in Key West. My good friend whom I went there with received a speeding ticket on the way down (45 mph over the speed limit *gulp*) which has turned into a nightmare for him. I feel terrible about it. But he has hired a lawyer in KW to represent him in court to save the long trips back and forth (he lives in Naples). One thing I did notice down there was how many of the old Key West homes had been converted into law offices. Not a bad gig, eh? When I was a kid growing up in a small beach town, my best friend's father was the district attorney there. Rarely did you see him out of his sandals and Hawaiian shirts, lol. That sort of Florida attitude is quickly disappearing, but lives on still in Key West. I think that's why I felt so instantly attached to the place.
Boy...I digressed up there a bit. Somebody shut me up already.
And did I mention the chickens? There are chickens running free all over Key West. It's adorable. Chickens and cats...living together in peace in harmony.
