Sorry, I forgot to mention that I'd be using a DVD-ROM I already have. Same with the HDD - I have one in my current PC that more than up to the task. And don't worry, the PS I have now is 500w - plenty of juice there.
After speaking with a friend, it looks like I'll be changing to Intel. I'll post revisions when I can. Thanks for the input thus far, though.
