CPU is so outdated they don't sell it on newegg anymore, Martel estimates $150
Motherboard is probably going to be about $100
2gigs of ram is about $250
plus case, drive, etc... yeah, it's around the right price. However, you could do a LOT better for that price. Case in point:
Hooray for core2 processors, unless you're a total AMD freak. Also, having SLI (dual) video cards is a bit of a pain unless you know what you're doing as far as set up- you have to tell each game you play how to deal with SLI video, and some games don't support the format. Also, if you're going to be running ram and video cards and processor, you want to have a ROCK SOLID power supply. Martel (the expert) says that he'd be suprised if a 350watt power supply would be sufficient, especialy if it's a generic brand. And no optical drive? How you going to be installing those games?
