When I left the cellphone company, I'd built up enough money to not work for a month before starting to look for something to replace it. I took the time to relax, finally, after being in such a high-pressure job (sales, management). I also took the time to plan out what i'd decided to do (and am currently in the process of), which was to go back to school and become a Paramedic.
I will be working all over, so it doesn't much matter where my "base" is. I'll cover all different areas, depending on for whom I work.
I don't think I'll ever want to start my own business. Just not really my thing, and not in line with my professional interests.
I'm not much of a traveller. I enjoy vacationing, but I'm not a fan of "unknowns", which you can definitely have a lot of while on vacation in unknown areas.
I hope to save up more than enough to retire... because by the time i'm ready to do so, I will probably really need to be done working.
