I've been down sized, and fired, twice in a year, this sort of hits home.
Are you going to look for work right away? Yes, and always job shopping.
Do you need to find any job you can to pay the bills? Unfortunately yes, my wife doesn't work.
Would you apply for jobs in a different city than the one you live in now? Yes, but it's harder to convince her into moving.
Do you think you would ever want to start your own business? Yes, but have no ideas what to do.
Would you want to take 3, 6, 12 months off to travel the world? 3 months to travel the US, not the world. 3 months without a job sucks though.
Would you just take a few months off to unwind? If I have tons o money yes. I'd play lots of golf.
Would you stay home and watch your kid(s) instead of sending them to day care? My wife already does this, and I can't be home 24 hrs with them for more than 2 weeks without pulling my hair out.
Do you have enough saved up to retire? What's saved up?
Have you ever thought about it or have some other idea planned? Lotto baby!
