WinXP used to blank the screen after 10 minutes of no keyboard/mouse activity.
This is fine with me.

Now, after an install of something - I don't know what -
a logon is needed to restore activity after a screen blank.
This is not only anoying but interfers with some programs.

I have not found a string to enter into Google to fix this -
to remove the logon after a screen blank.

Can someone help, please.

BTW, this did not help:

* Select Run from the Start Menu, type control userpasswords2,
and click Ok.
* Turn off the Users must enter a user name and password to use
this computer option, and click Ok.
