Why is it that the police can do nothing? Someone stole your personal property as well as very sensitive information in a store that I'm assuming has a surveillance system installed. Have the tapes been checked?

I doubt the matching addresses are coincidental - seems rather typical of the casual (careless) thief. If you really want your PSP back then you should exhaust every option available to you.

The PSP, 1 gig stick, and copy of Lumines amount to more than $300 - I'm not sure about where you live but here a theft of at least that amount constitutes a felony charge.

This is no light theft - this guy should be in jail.
