I enjoyed the first episode a lot. Thanks to just the right balance between competition and personalities, this is by far my favourite reality show.
I was bummed that we lost Vipul & Arti and Bilal & Sa'eed so early. I liked V&A's positive outlook, and let's face it, where else on TV are we going to get to see devout Muslims in such a role.
Over the episode, I definitely warmed up to the Kentuckians. Sure they're a bit coarse, but I respect that the wife has taken time to learn some local phrases and they both seem genuine and outgoing. Usually the "hick" contestants are played for laughs.
