Sorry Slim...
I'm 44 years old, and I've never seen anything positive follow those words. It's as tired a breakup line as; "It's not you...it's me".
Only slightly better than; "So-and-so (usually your best friend) and I have been talking a lot lately, and...".
It sounds to me as if she wants her freedom. Take some advise from the old guy...give it to her. Trust me. You'll both end up happier for it.
