The doctor and I were talking about this yesterday during my consultation for my breast reduction....I've had a reoccuring one for years on the bottom side of my left breast....part of the problem is "enormous pendulous breasts" as they keep describing my boobs lol it is most likely an cyst that keeps re infecting. I was told I would be put on oral anti biotics 12 days before the surgery to make sure it didnt cause any complications...and that they would make sure if they found it to be a cystic situation that it would be removed.
I also had the same thing on my inner thigh...finally...right after the wedding last year the infection got SO bad I had to have it lanced, which some may remember was not really pleasant for me. The 2nd the wound was opened the infection ran thru my entire body cause me to run a 104 degree fever for two days.
I would have a doctor look at it WHEN its flaring up...you may need to have the same kind of procedure. On the bright side of that...I havent had one problem with my leg since it healed.
