Blisters on Breast.
I have a doctor's appointment this week, but I was hoping that maybe someone here could enlighten me, or tell me what's up with my breast before then.
(Be prepared, this is pretty gross) Right before I am about to start my period, I get a large bump or two on my left breast. Usually on the bottom half. The bumps are kind of like a big blister. They are a little bit sensitive to the touch, and itch. They are bright red, and very ugly. About the size of a dime, or nickle. Right about the time I start my period, or a little after they manage to pop. It's a combination of blood, and pus that comes out. After they pop, and drain, they disappear, and don't show up again until I am about to start my period next time. This has been going on for the last few months. Anyone else have something like this happen to them? Or have ever heard of anything like this. Anything would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much. I got the same thing, only on my chin. Dead center. Big ready-to-explode zit one week before my period. Sometimes I'd get one or two on a breast.
The only time you should really worry is if a rash develops around the areola-that's a sign of Paget's Disease. Do you get sore and bigger breasts around the same time? Is the cyst under the edges of your bra? Are you on BC pills? There's any number of factors that could cause them, the most likely being hormonal. In case you forget to ask, write it down-when they appear, other symptoms at the same time, etc., to speak to the doctor about. I know it's easy to forget the questions when you get there.

Those sounds like a bacterial skin infection. I've seen them on another person. Try putting antibacterial ointment under your breasts after each shower and perhaps during the day. Also a powder with cornstarch is helpful.
They tend to appear on the torso and more often in skin folds, under arms, under breasts, etc. They can usually be controlled with antibacterial creams and even some acne treatments. Otherwise the Dr might prescribe an oral antibiotic. The other possibility is a fungal skin infection but those are less common where you described. They tend to be flat very small vesicles that are filled with CLEAR fluid and that itche badly before they burst. These sounded more like inflammed pimples almost - that would be bacterial most likely. Good Luck

The doctor and I were talking about this yesterday during my consultation for my breast reduction....I've had a reoccuring one for years on the bottom side of my left breast....part of the problem is "enormous pendulous breasts" as they keep describing my boobs lol it is most likely an cyst that keeps re infecting. I was told I would be put on oral anti biotics 12 days before the surgery to make sure it didnt cause any complications...and that they would make sure if they found it to be a cystic situation that it would be removed.
I also had the same thing on my inner thigh...finally...right after the wedding last year the infection got SO bad I had to have it lanced, which some may remember was not really pleasant for me. The 2nd the wound was opened the infection ran thru my entire body cause me to run a 104 degree fever for two days. I would have a doctor look at it WHEN its flaring up...you may need to have the same kind of procedure. On the bright side of that...I havent had one problem with my leg since it healed.
