There's a guy in town here who does all kinds of custom ironwork, including iron (and steel) gates for driveways, private estates, etc. -- amazing stuff with patterns of hunting cats, birds of prey, etc., designed in.

Also, take a look at archives about Burning Man and see if any of the metal goodies people whomp up for that interest you. Like the fire organ:
