there's nothing wrong with the 'bargain' deals in the newspaper... you can get new furniture but not pay full price for it... a lot of department stores and furniture manufacturers have outlet stores where you can get furniture at a fraction of the price of what it was in the showroom... it mightbe last years model - it might have a small unnoticable ding in it somewhere but it's still perfectly good furniture...
I have an overstuffed chair in my living room that matches my sofa perfectly... it's cushy and comfy and the perfect reading chair... i paid 200 dollars for the chair (delivery included) at an outlet - if i bought it new, it would have cost about 600... what was wrong with it? It was missing one of the thingies that cover the padded arm... (the one that was there looked awful on the chair anyhow so I didn't care)
it pays to check out those newspaper bargains... it's still new furniture... but not full price
