Congrats! Hopefully things will work out. It always concerns me when people at the top lack respect for others. Kind of like the CEO treating a waiter badly...it shows some of their character. But if you don't report to this guy... that said, I've often heard the phrase "A fish rots at the Head."
I'd keep my eyes and ears open.
